Food and Games at the Park
By: Christine Llamoso - VP of Social Affairs
On July 16, Saturday, 30 people gathered for the ISFFA Park Social event at Granada Park in Alhambra. There were lots of food for everyone and some brought their own dish to share. To name a few, we had pancit, adobo, lumpia, carbonara, barbecue, mangoes, and watermelon! Yum!
After we had our fill, we introduced two classic palarong Pinoy: Patintero (block other team from passing) and Agawan Panyo (rivalry of handkerchief - but we used a lei in lieu of handkerchief). A badminton court was also set up to add more fun! The players were really competitive to the point that they were too tired to play another game.
Towards the end of the day, we just sat on the grass and ate some more food while exchanging stories to one another. I can definitely say that we really did have a fun and relaxing summer park social.
