Outside of ISFFA, she is involved with CSULB’s Accounting Society, where she will be the co-chair of the ABSOC committee for the Spring 2016 semester, and Association of Latino Professionals for America. Kyla Tamondong is a tax staff at Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt (HCVT). She graduated cum laude from Cal State Long Beach (CSULB) with a bachelor's degree in business administration, focusing on accounting. While attending university, she held various leadership positions for different organizations. She was heavily involved with her alma matter's Beta Alpha Psi chapter, where she served as the secretary for the Omicron candidate class during the Fall 2014 semester and the Vice President in Fall 2016. She was also CSULB’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) coordinator during the 2016 tax season.

Kyla has also been involved with other off-campus organizations. Aside from ISFFA, she is also part of Carson Sister Cities Association where she represented the City of Carson as a student delegate in Soka, Japan.
